Experience a unique program encompassing six films and discussions that address a wide range of human rights issues from around the world. Filmmakers and Human Rights Watch experts will be present to discuss many of the issues raised by films and their impact around the world.

Explore the beauty and mystery of our winged neighbors in this 4th Annual art exhibition celebrating the crow. The Show seeks to represent the many faces of the crow in folklore and reality. The reception for this exhibition is on February 3, from 6–9 pm. Both the reception and exhibition are free events.

From Negro Spirituals to Porgy & Bess
Join the Oceanside Public Library and the North County African American Women’s Association for a unique and unforgettable journey through history with award-winning soprano Yolanda Mitchell West and baritone Michael Paul. Vocals will be accompanied by piano and there will also be a lecture. This is a free event.

Have fun and help dogs! Love for Labs and More is a Valentine trivia night with beer and chocolate tasting, live music, raffles, prizes, a Valentine photo booth, and more! Proceeds will provide food, housing, and veterinary care to dogs awaiting adoption.

SDJFF will also feature guest actors, filmmakers, and scholars who will introduce their work in audience discussions and meet-and-greet events.

Don your most festive mask for the nation’s largest LGBT Mardi Gras celebration outside of New Orleans. The weekend starts on the 10th with a nighttime neighborhood bar crawl featuring party buses with entertainment, drag queens, and street performers at every stop!

Cameron Carpenter

It used to be that if you wanted to hear the pipe organ, you had to travel to the pipe organ. Now Cameron Carpenter, a former child prodigy who holds two degrees from Julliard, has created a pipe organ that tours the globe. And his repertoire—from the complete works of J. S. Bach to film scores to original compositions—is among the largest and most diverse of any organist.

Mardi Gras Run

Start the party with a run along a scenic waterfront course to the tunes of a Jazz band. Then indulge in all the festivities when you reach the finish line! Winter Brew Fest

Sample amazing brews from over 30 breweries throughout the night while listening to great live music! The San Diego Winter Brew Fest will feature craft beverages from around California and beyond as well as live local music, food, and other vendors. The event will benefit Outdoor Outreach and the San Diego Mountain Biking Association (SDMBA). Ages 21+ only.
